The Cheshire Police Benevolent Association (P.B.A.) is comprised of all regular, full-time sworn Police Officers and the Animal Control Officer of the Town of Cheshire. Retired sworn officers are considered Honorary Members and are also entitled to receive benefits as provided in our by-laws.
The primary purpose of the Cheshire P.B.A. is to protect, provide for and contribute to the supportof our officers who are in need of financial assistance because of illness or injury. The P.B.A. also attempts to establish a good relationship between the police service and the community and to promote brotherhood amongst its members through its various functions.
The Cheshire P.B.A. actually is made up of two completely separate organizations, The Cheshire P.B.A., Inc. and the Community Foundation.
